  • How often do you here these from your production people?

    • “We just got another “hot rush” job! Now what? Which current orders will be affected if we put this into the schedule?”

    • “Which of these machines is already set-up to run this step?”

    • “Can we squeeze some additional lead time/set-up time out of this process?”

    • “Oh no, the supplier just called, and they can’t get us the raw materials.”

    • “We’re losing customers because we’re missing order ship dates, and we don’t know why.”

    • “My ‘planning’ is spreadsheets and lots of phone calls.”

    • “For this week’s production, our supervisor’s schedules are based on what they actually produced last week.”

    • “I know the scheduling information is in there, but I just can’t answer ‘the question’.”

With Visual Planner you are able to prepare achievable production plans – fast! Visual Planner allows multiple methods of scheduling including automatic and simple drag and drop. All of this saves you valuable time that can be better spent elsewhere on the shop floor.

And because Visual Planner is fully integrated into Exact Macola Progression and ES packages, the information you need to make the right decisions is at your fingertips. From Visual Planner’s Graphical Planning Screen, you can see real-time information that includes customer orders, stock availability, captured BOM, trial kit lists, order properties, progress on production completed, production reports, and much more.
So put down your whiteboards and spreadsheets and learn how to plan and schedule production using software that takes the guesswork out of scheduling!
